Fans of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be interested in this one, as it adds new playable character Champion's Tunic Link along with other items featured from that game.

A couple of weeks ago, Nintendo threw in support for the Nintendo Labo's Motorbike Joy-Con, enabling players to enjoy the game with their cardboard bike accessory from the Nintendo Labo Variety Kit.

The update also includes the Legendary Ancient Tyres and Paraglider parts that can be used to customise your kart.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's latest update also introduces a bunch of gameplay improvements, although Ninty didn't specify them in the patch notes. Nintendo said it will add more compatible titles in the future.

So, will this be enough to prompt a return to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or were you hoping for some more expansive DLC? Update 1.6 for the racing game adds the Master Cycle Zero and the Champion's Tunic from Breath of the Wild.

Mario Kart Deluxe is now available on the Nintendo Switch.

The game will be released before the end of next March, although an exact date is yet to be revealed.

That's not the only awesome Mario Kart news coming out of SDCC.

Each vehicle will retail for $5 United States dollars and will be released in June 2019.
