Tekashi69 is lucky to be alive.

So scary. Tekashi69 just finished working on a music video in Brooklyn when he was shockingly robbed and held hostage by 3 hooded gunmen before ending up in the hospital in the early morning hours of July 22.

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was kidnapped, pistol-whipped and robbed of jewelry early Sunday, according to reports in The Associated Press and TMZ.

However, in the version related by law enforcement sources, two men rammed his auto at a red light, grabbed Tekashi, and drove him to his home, where he called someone inside - the story supposes his girlfriend - who came down with the jewelry.

Tekashi was then tossed into the backseat and, when he came to, he was ordered to hand over his jewelry and money, and was told that otherwise he would be killed, reported TMZ.

Three hooded gunmen allegedly got out of the other vehicle, grabbed Tekashi, and pistol whipped him, leaving him unconscious.

But but wait, it gets worse.

His daughter and the child's mother are said to have been in the house at the time of the robbery but remained unharmed.

Two of the men then went into his house and took around $750,000 worth of jewellery and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash whilst the other guarded the auto.

That wasn't the end of it. One of the gunmen began chasing him, but stopped because he was afraid he would be identified.

6ix9ine then managed to jump into a stranger's vehicle and asked for help. According to 6ix9ine, the two men rammed the rear bumper of the Tahoe and proceeded to carjack the rapper and his entourage, stealing away with both the driver's iPhone and Tekashi in the back seat. "The stranger called 911 and then asked 69 to get out of the auto at an intersection", TMZ continues.
