Firstly, it shows us that 5G devices and, naturally, networks are rapidly approaching, and as we explain in our guide to 5G, the benefits both will deliver will be huge. While a large number of the OnePlus cell phones work fine and dandy on transporters like T-Mobile and AT&T, they know that it is so vital to manufacturing an association with these bearers. This launch of 5G smartphone would go perfectly with the first year of 5G connectivity in US. We look forward to bring you more exciting news about Android version updates for OnePlus 3/3T in the coming months, stay tuned. The phones are now supported by AT&T and T-Mobile and it is expected that OnePlus would opt for carrier partnership for the 5G smartphone launch in 2019.

This information was unveiled head of the company, Pete Lau.

Another major move that OnePlus is planning to make is to be available in partnership with a USA carrier.

He did not speak anything about launching a 5G smartphone in India. OnePlus usually launches two flagship phones for a year and the company has already announced the OnePlus 6 which is likely be succeded by the OnePlus 6T. Currently, they're focusing on direct sales but going with carrier sales will allow people to have a hands-on experience with whatever device will be sold before deciding on buying them.

Here in the USA, most of the wireless business, including phone sales, takes place directly through carriers.

This schedule applies to all OnePlus 3/3T, OnePlus 5/5T, OnePlus 6 devices and will be effective immediately.

As explained earlier, Pete Lau said at the MWC Shanghai, about the 5G. This year's iPhone X successors aren't supposed to pack 5G support, because that's not how Apple does things.
