Sources of Nokia Power User have told them in a statement that the smartphone is supposed to be launched in India but the exact date hasn't been conveyed. It will be available for pre-order starting July 19 via online retailers such as JD.com, Suning and Lynx and the official Nokia website.

Idea and Vodafone consumers will get two exciting offers. Customers purchasing the Nokia 3.1 Android One smartphone from retail outlets can get 10% cashback on recharges and bill payments by scanning the PayTM mall QR code.


The Nokia 3.1 with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage will be costing Rs 10,499 in India. Now, the company has launched the Nokia 3.1 further indicating its push to gain a larger market share in the entry-level market. There is also a cashback of 5 percent on purchase using ICICI Bank Credit or Debit Card. On recharge of Rs 149 pack, users will get 1GB data per day, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. The device features a 5.2-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels along with 2.5D curved glass and an elongated aspect ratio of 18:9 with some noticeable bezels. The all-new Nokia 3.1 Android One will be available in three color hues, namely Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome and White/Iron. Similarly, on recharge of Rs 595 plan, users will get unlimited calls, 18GB of 4G data, 100 SMS/day for 6 months. The front panel has Corning Gorilla Glass layered on top for added protection. At the heart of the phone, there's the latest MediaTek MT6750N chipset, which is an octa-core chipset with all the cores clocked at 1.5GHz. The phone has an expandable storage support of 128GB (via microSD card).

In the camera department, the Nokia 3.1 bears a single 13-megapixel autofocus sensor with f/2.0 and an LED flash.


For connectivity options, the Nokia 3.1 has a 3.5mm audio jack, Micro USB 2.0, LTE Cat4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, and Beidou. The new model also comes with upgraded cameras, Android Oreo and of course, it's part of the Android One program, meaning timely security and platform updates and guaranteed. While the 2GB RAM variant comes with 16GB of internal storage, the 3GB RAM variant offers 32GB of internal storage.
