George Clooney reportedly sustains minor injuries in scooter crash in Italy

The 57-year-old actor was riding his scooter on the Italian island of Sardinia on Tuesday (July 10) when another auto cut him off. The BBC reported the crash took place as Clooney was leaving his hotel in Costa Corallina, a beachside town in northern Sardinia.

Amal Clooney reportedly rushed to his side while he was at the hospital.

George Clooney was taken to the hospital after crashing his motorcycle into a auto in Sardinia this week.

Clooney has a home with his wife, human rights lawyer Amal, on the Italian mainland, on Lake Como. Cicognani added that Clooney was "not seriously injured".

The US actor, 57, was said to be riding his motorbike at Costa Corallina, Puntaldia, when he collided with a Mercedes vehicle on Tuesday morning, according to TGR Rai Sardegna.
