With the burial scheduled for Tuesday, hopefully close friends and family members of Renard were able to visit him over the weekend, as his life was celebrated in distinct fashion.

On June 26, 18-year-old Boston Celtics fan Renard Matthews was shot and killed in New Orleans.

The family also placed a video game controller in his hands, laid out a few of his favorite snacks and had a Celtics game playing on the TV in front of where the body was displayed.

An SB Nation article covered the story of the funeral, and it includes a photo of Matthews' funeral set up. Matthews' corpse is propped up in a spinning chair while wearing a Celtics jersey, more specifically the No. 11 Kyrie Irving black alternate jersey. A pair of sunglasses cover his eyes and a PlayStation controller rests in his hands.

The realistic tribute to Matthews also came with the teenager surrounded by some of his favorite snacks, including cereal, Doritos, zebra cakes, and a root beer.

He was dressed in his Celtics jersey, playing National Basketball Association 2K on an XBOX with his favorite snacks and chair.
