The American Theatre Wing's 72nd Annual Tony Awards will air live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

The anti-Trump sentiment swept backstage as playwright Tony Kushner and others from Angels in America spoke to reporters about its three big wins: best play revival and acting trophies for Andrew Garfield and Nathan Lane. Garfield ended his speech with an reference to the recent Supreme Court ruling, which found that a Colorado bakery was legally permitted to deny service to customers attempting to order a wedding cake for a same-sex wedding. She accepted in tears, recounting that when she moved to NY, she was told to change her last name to Matthews or she wouldn't work. Check out show clips from The Band's Visit below. The Tonys didn't specifically address that, but did touch on gun violence, depression, politics and inclusion. This website is not intended for users located within the European Economic Area.
