Xiaomi is still using a polycarbonate back with a metal mid-frame, and the overall fit and finish is top-notch. However, there are some differences with the placements of antenna bands at the back.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 is currently the best value for money smartphone available in India right now, and of course, when you get a value for money product, you've to struggle for getting your hands on it. Oh, and Xiaomi is throwing in a clear case in the box.

The smartphone would operate upon an Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and would also possess an "Octa-core processor". It features a 78-degree wide-angle 16-megapixel high-resolution sensor with a larger aperture f/2.0. Portrait photos will be possible on both, single- and dual-rear camera phones running MIUI 10. Well, if that is your only priority, then save some money and look no further than what Xiaomi launched - Redmi Y2 - on 7 June. The selfie camera on Redmi Y2 also comes with AI Beautify 4.0 with India-specific functions. The device comes with a 4500K selfie light which Xiaomi claims can produce white light similar to what we see in our surroundings. At the left, it has SIM card slot where you get two SIM card slots and one dedicated microSD card slot.

Xiaomi has been among the select few Android OEM brands that offer extended software support to devices that are way past their update cycle.

Then there's the fact that MIUI is optimized for the chipset, so it should make it easier for Xiaomi to roll out a new device with the Snapdragon 625 over a Snapdragon 630.

There are two storage variants of Y2: 3/32GB priced at Rs. 9,999 and 4/64GB costing Rs. 12,999. But when you compare it to the other phone in their lineup, this phone does not give you a great value.

Like its previous variants, the Redmi Y2 is supposed to be a youth-centric offering.

The Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A might be China-exclusive as the company only recently launched the Redmi 5 in India. It takes design cues from the Note 5 Pro and the Mi A1.

The smartphone could feature a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and 3,000mAh battery. If you want good selfies without compromising with performance, go with Redmi Y2.

The rear camera is 12MP+20MP with the 12MP sensor sporting f/1.5 aperture and Artificia Intelligence features. Those want to buy the device will be available to do so on, and Xiaomi's Mi Home retail stores in India.
