According to WTOP, the court will set a trial date on Tuesday.

McGowan, who was indicted Monday, is accused of leaving a wallet with cocaine inside on a plane at Dulles International Airport previous year.

Weinstein pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges.

McGowan tweeted about incident, asking, "Are they trying to silence me?"

Defense attorney Jessica Carmichael argued, however, that there was not enough evidence to prove McGowan's guilt, pointing to inconsistencies among witnesses as well as the hours that passed between the flight's landing and the wallet's discovery. There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia.

McGowan has maintained the cocaine is not hers, suggesting in court papers that the drugs were planted at the behest of movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

At a hearing last month, prosecutors made the case that McGowan's wallet was properly handled from the moment it was found on a United Airlines plane early January 21, 2017.

The "Charmed" star and her attorney assert that she left her bag containing her wallet on the plane unattended. Weinstein has denied all the accusations. Police said two bags of cocaine were discovered inside. McGowan has said repeatedly that the drugs may have been planted on her, and are not hers. "Imagining I'm going into sisterly solidarity, I can think of nothing more opposed to that, energetically, that I would want in my body at that moment", McGowan said at the time.

Weinstein has since been arrested on charges of rape, committing a criminal sex act, sexual abuse and sexual misconduct in NY for which has pled not guilty.

Weinstein couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
