Users first noticed the same after the release of his latest film "Race 3".

In 2016, Salman's Eid release, Sultan, earned Rs 105.53 crore in its first three days, despite releasing on a Wednesday.

Race 3 is a stand-alone sequel to the hit franchise "Race".

After collected 29+ crores "nett" on the First day, the film posted 106+ crores total on its First weekend.

Race 3 and Salman Khan are that magical commodity known as critic-proof.

After Ek Tha Tiger (Rs 32.93 crore) and Sultan (Rs 36.54 crore), Race 3 got the third-highest opening for a Salman Khan film on the occasion of Eid.

In just three day, Salman Khan's Race 3 has scored a century at the box office, trade analyst Taran Adarsh reports.

Deepika Padukone's Padmaavat continues to top the list of highest weekend openers for the year with Rs 114 crore. Crosses cr... Fourth Salman starrer to collect ₹ 100 cr mark in *3 days* [#BajrangiBhaijaan, #Sultan, #TigerZindaHai]. Friday 29.17 crore, Saturday 38.14 crore, Sunday 39.16 crore.

However, the figure is lower than Tiger Zinda Hai (114.93 cr), and it's surprising that his Christmas release took a better opening than his Eid counterpart. While Padmaavat had an opening collection of Rs 19 crore (excluding previews), Baaghi 2 earned Rs 25.10 crore on day one. As compared to the past Salman's film released on Eid, the performance of the film is not as good as Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

The big budget entertainer has been shot across exotic locations and boasts of an impressive star cast that includes Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandes, Saqib Salim, Daisy Shah and Freddie Daruwala. The 52-year-old actor made his grand entry into the thriller genre with Remo D'Souza's directorial venture, but critics aren't impressed at all.

Not just India, Race 3 dominated the worldwide market as well.
