Sandra Bullock has revealed that she nearly walked away from her illustrious Hollywood career because the sexism in the industry really got under her skin.

She told Ellen: "One of the lucky things about being in this business for so long is that I've really kind of come to terms with the pressure that you get to look a certain way as an actress and I don't beat myself up about any of that stuff anymore".

If you've briefly seen any of the trailers for Ocean's 8, which opened in some theaters last night and opens nationwide today, you are probably aware that it stars Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway and Rihanna and the cast si rounded out by Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson and Awkwafina.

In the lead-up to the release of the all-female heist movie "Ocean's 8", it had been widely reported that Matt Damon would be one of the "Ocean's" trilogy stars to make a brief cameo. My mother raised me like, 'You don't need to get married, you forge your own path. "'Oh, my God, I'm being treated this way because I have a vagina'".

While Ocean's 8 is technically a heist movie, it is actually a movie about how men are boring and peripheral and women are fun and should have sex with each other.

"That was unfair on a level that I can't even not be mad about talking about", Bullock said. "And that was a hard pill to swallow".

She started by saying most people assume that groups of women can't get along, but their set was filled with so much love.

Expounding a bit more on what the Rihanna aura is like, Bullock described her as "still". Does Bullock have a right to be pissed at fans who didn't like way the Ghostbusters reboot? Sadly, it looks like fandom hasn't changed a whole lot since then.

"I don't think about my gender until those opportunities are not available to me or denied to me because of my gender", Blanchett says. It takes about 300, so, you know what? As a result, Ocean's 8 feels a little more mechanical because the stakes aren't as urgent.
