The game offers a player versus environment mode called "Save the World" and Battle Royale, which features a player versus player game.

According to this leak, it will be available on June 12, 2018, the same day as the E3 2018 Nintendo Direct.

Includes all of the new items, areas, characters, and bosses from the now released free content packs; Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, and Lifeblood.

Will you be plunging yourself into the mayhem of Tilted Towers on your Switch? Along with the exciting Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am premiering today, E3 2018 is only the beginning for this hit game.

The game will be free of course, in line with Fortnite on all platforms, and judging from the trailer, Nintendo Switch will support Fortnite crossplay with other devices.

This is a flawless chance for both new and old players of Fortnite to enjoy the game while they're on-the-go or on the big screen in the comfort of their own home. With Switch, you can squad up with your friends in the same room or around the world, and even play on the go.

Fortnite has been smashing records left and right and this Nintendo reveal is only going to continue to build upon that. Given its meteoric rise in popularity, Epic Games was able to book an estimated $126 million in revenue from Fortnite during the month of February; that haul more than doubled to $296 million in March. It's available to download and play today, starting at 10:00 a.m. PT.

The one notable exception is PS4, which is not too surprising considering that the PS4 version of the game now supports only PC and mobile crossplay, but does not feature support for its competing consoles. Considering $1 gets you 100 V-Bucks, this is an insanely good deal.
