Here's Six Minutes of Jump Force Gameplay

The Shonen Jump characters are coming back together once again in Jump Force, Bandai Namo revealed at Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference.

Realistic graphics bring Manga characters to life like never before. A Bandai Namco game, Jump Force looks like a fighting game that has a Smash Bros. style mashup feel in a 3D environment. The game will merge the Jump World and the Real World in a unique way, and the fate of humanity will hang in the balance. The special moves are also thematically and aesthetically appropriate; in my second round I was using Frieza, and I just started peppering Naruto with those ridiculous sniper-shot death beams while he laid face-down on the ground about 30 yards away from me.

There will be other anime and manga guest stars in Jump Force as well, though the full list isn't known yet. It's too early to tell, but clearly it doesn't have to be played that way, which is a boon for a plebe like me. We know Goku, Monkey D. Luffy, and Naruto will be in the game and it seems like Freiza might be part of whatever villainous force is threatening the world.

You might be wondering how the rights work for all this. Notably, he stated that there would be characters present that haven't really been in video games before. Now, in Jump Force-or when it arrives in 2019 on multiple platforms-players will have the chance to pit top-tier fighters from across disparate stories against each other in ways that fans could only have dreamed of up to this point.
