As well as hosting a number of TV shows, he was also a best-selling food, travel and fiction author. "Thank you for making food so exciting". He left behind an 11-year-old daughter, Ariane, from his second marriage. "He was irreverent, honest, curious, never condescending and never obsequious", said Prateek Sadhu, head chef and co-owner at Masque Restaurant, who also went to the same culinary school, the Culinary Institute of America. "I grew up with a good vocabulary and I have used it recklessly at times for the short amusement of the people around me".

Miami Indulge editor-in-chief Evan Benn took to Twitter to reveal Bourdain's role in sending a boy with leukemia to Spain in conjuncture with Make-A-Wish. According to an interview with Biography.com in 2016, Bourdain stopped using heroin in the 1980s.

In a voiceover for the episode, Bourdain praised Brown's "great food and great company" for taking his mind off what could've happened.

In 2005, he began hosting Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, which ran on the Travel Channel from 2005-2012. "So why did Jesus cross the road?", replied Bourdain.

"I am shocked - Anthony was a larger than life personality with so much talent", chef Sandra Lee tells ET. Declared Bourdain, "Someone nailed him to a chicken". "You will die friendless and alone", Bourdain informed her. You just basically spat in the milk of their mother.

"That's the loss of a family member, and that's kind of love and to have that pain to want to take your own life is still something I can't wrap my hands around".

Argento asked people to respect her privacy and the privacy of Bourdain's family. "'Write this down: I'm a fuckin' feminist'".

One user replied: "You were the first person who came to mind hearing the news".

In the roughly 43-minute episode, Bourdain uproots these memories as he strolls through downtown Provincetown, pointing out the many establishments where he either worked, or spent time drinking and partying with his friends and coworkers.

CNN will broadcast a tribute to Bourdain titled Remembering Anthony Bourdain at 10 p.m. ET on Friday night.

Anthony Bourdain was known for showing Americans far-away places like Borneo and Myanmar. He was reportedly there filming his hit series Parts Unknown when his friend Eric Ripert made the tragic discovery. Don't ever suck the dick! "He wanted power and attitude", Questlove said of Bourdain's taste in music.

"I was following him and it's one of those moments that sticks with you. he just dusted himself off and reached for his ciggies".
