Kaitlyn Strom was attending the Winstock Country Music Festival with friends in the U.S. when she hit upon a novel idea - sticking her head in a truck exhaust pipe.

The Winsted Fire Department used a power saw to free the woman.

It's not known exactly how the woman got herself in that predicament.

The 19-year-old told the Hutchinson Leader she was stuck for about 45 minutes until firefighters were able to cut the pipe and free her head.

Introducing 19-year-old Kaitlyn Strom, the hero country music needs. "I have got to hear her side of the story", Little wrote. A 5-second clip uploaded to Facebook Saturday, viewed 2.7 million times, shows a firefighter working to free the woman, who'd inserted and removed her head from the tailpipe earlier in the day without issue, per KARE.

Though she escaped the incident unscathed, she was reprimanded by the McLeod County Sheriff's Office for underage drinking, according to The Associated Press. Later, Pipe Girl posted, "Yes, I'm the tail pipe girl, whatchu know about it?" "So I tried it".

"A lot of people don't realize how serious it was", she told the Leader. "It did fit, but it didn't want to come back out", Kaitlyn continued. So, I guess that's how she found herself in the exhaust pipe.

"[I was] kind of confused because I didn't know what was going on, because I couldn't see around me", she said.

"I remember getting my head unstuck, and I just looked at him and apologised, and he said, "No, I'm just glad you're OK".
