CM Punk On All In And Potentially Wrestling Again

Their friendship dates back to when Punk was in WWE and Rousey was dominating UFC, though, hence the former's advice leading up to WrestleMania 34. I know she'd probably get treated differently, just as I know I probably get treated differently here.

There was a lawsuit that pitted CM Punk and Colt Cabana against WWE doctor Chris Amann.

UPDATE: Punk told a Canadian news outlet this morning that even though he hasn't received an offer, this doesn't mean he wants one ... adding, "I'm done with professional wrestling".

From a personal point of view, I've been following the trial through online reports partly because it could have had ramifications in terms of the way that I and colleagues write and podcast about wrestling but also because of what I felt was the injustice.

CM Punk will compete this Saturday at UFC 225 in his hometown of Chicago when he steps into the cage with Mike Jackson. There's been 'hey, if you ever want to do anything.' I know what this is going to sound like to a lot of people. He has also been a wrestling reviewer since 2009 with over 5,000 full shows covered.

"Nobody's ever been like, 'hey, here's the deal, we're having a show, we're paying you X amount and you're working this guy".

"To be honest with you, in a year and a half's time [since his last fight] and you have to think who he is and his schedule, trying to find time to train, on top of just being almost 40 years old and being in professional wrestling, these are all variables that you have to consider".

The fight is one that has gotten a lot of attention because of who Punk is in the sports entertainment world, but outside of a comment made in the past, Jackson said there's no real beef between the two. "It doesn't matter what I say, I've said no and no, no, no, so many times that people just always kind of are like, 'Oh, so there's a chance?'" "Whaddaya say, yes or no?' Nobody's ever done that". "They don't know me cause I don't have that kind of exposure". People always come and go, and they come back and they leave, and they come back.

That said, Punk admits he didn't watch Rousey's debut match, in which she teamed with Kurt Angle to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. "This is where I live now, this is my head-space".
