If you've got a proper racing setup, you'll be glad to know the beta's even supporting an array of wheel options out of the gate, which you can see in full at Ubisoft's site.

Ubisoft announced that their closed beta phase for The Crew 2 will begin on May 31st.

The closed beta provides a glimpse at the progression system, as well as the four racing disciplines - Aerobatics, Powerboat, Street Race, and Rally Raid. Running from May 31 to June 4, you can sign-up today on your platform of choice to get a taste for what the game has to offer.

The publisher notes players who are selected for the beta are encouraged to make use of the ability to pre-load the build, which will be available from May 29.

The Crew 2 is set to release in full on June 29.

Ubisoft has said that there will be no restrictions on where players can roam in the world, saying that they can "explore [the] entire open world with no loading times or barriers". As part of the closed beta, players can participate in the Motor Trend Classic Challenge which takes racers to New York City and has them compete with vehicles from the street racing family.

The game's playground pushes physical boundaries to let driving and open world fans test their skills, solo or with friends, in non-stop competition and exploration.
