RED's Hydrogen One will be available at AT&T and Verizon this summer

Can't wait until this summer for a first look at the RED HYDROGEN ONE?

When the Hydrogen One was announced, two models were unveiled: an aluminum version with a price tag set at $1,195, and a titanium variant with a price tag starting at $1,595.

The Red Hydrogen phone will be available on Verizon and AT&T once it's released later this year. The phone is the first consumer handset from Red, the company better known for its high-end digital cameras used to create Hollywood films. Unlike Verizon, AT&T is ready to let you try the phone yourself, as long as you're willing to go AT&T Shape at Warner Bros. It purports to be the first holographic phone in the world. But there is one Android phone that's unlike anything we've seen, and it finally has the backing of a major carrier.

Simultaneously Verizon announced that it would also be carrying the RED Hydrogen One.

The holographic display and other features on offer will really have to impress to make the Red Hydrogen One stick out in 2018.

Red also says that the Hydrogen One will be a modular phone, capable of adding on accessories - most of which sound like they'll be geared toward adding to the camera's capabilities.
