Additionally, Doomfist, Moira, and Brigitte are getting new dance emotes. It'll bring 50 cosmetic items into the fray, as well as another deathmatch map called Petra. The Brazilian Overwatch Twitter account accidentally leaked a video last night which reveals Blizzard's plans for the Anniversary event.

To cap it off, Blizzard will be offering a free weekend in the game from May 25-29.

The tweet also mentioned the brawls that are returning, these modes being past seasonal brawls that'll be found in the Arcade. Loot box shennanigans not included, I've gotten a lot of playtime out of it. All players will be able to claim a "Legendary Anniversary Loot Box" with at least one guaranteed Legendary item inside, and all previous seasonal event loot will be available in loot boxes during the event in case you want to buy any of those things.

Special loot boxes will also be making a appearance with Legendary Anniversary Loot Boxes guaranteeing players some rare content.

As reported the other day by our own Louis Stowe, the Anniversary Event for everyone's favorite class-based shooter will begin on May 22nd (one week from tomorrow) and conclude on June 11th.

Overwatch is turning two years next week and just like last year's anniversary celebration, there will be another one this year and it should come with a range of new skins and possibly a new game mode as well. Oh, and a "Legendary Edition" is coming on May 22 with "Legendary, Epic and Origin skins for a total of 15 skins with purchase".
