The OnePlus 6 launch has been one of the most anticipated smartphone releases for the first half of 2018 and here's everything we know about the upcoming smartphone so far.

Moving to the internal specifications, the OnePlus has advertised on that its new flagship will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Alternatively you can also follow OnePlus' Facebook and Twitter pages for live updates.

The global launch of the OnePlus 6 will start at 5pm BST (9:30pm IST).

On the optics front, the smartphone will be flaunting a dual rear camera setup comprising of a 20MP sensor and another 16MP sensor.

The display will feature a notch as confirmed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei (who later took down his tweet) and previous leaks and the recent one from TENAA also seem to lock on 6.28-inch display sporting an FHD+ resolution. Another change in look will be a glass back on the OnePlus 6 which is also a first for the company. Being a reviewer it's easy to say that OnePlus will launch a 6T model in a few months from now just like it did last year (OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T) and the year before that (OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T). There is no word on third variant (8GB RAM + 256GB storage), but going by the aforementioned price pattern, it is most likely to be priced Rs 42,999. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3300mAh battery with support for Dash Charge technology. The front-facing camera is expected to be a 16-megapixel shooter.

According to latest leaks, the OnePlus 6 64GB and 128GB variants may be priced at Rs 36,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively in India. After that Amazon will start the sale of OnePlus 6 from 21 May 2018 in India. On the purchase of the OnePlus 6, customers can avail a discount of Rs. 2,000 on SBI Credit and Debit card transactions during the first week of the phone's official launch.

Under the OnePlus 6 Fast AF sale, users who wish to pre-book the OnePlus 6 will have to purchase an e-gift card worth Rs 1,000 and they will be able to redeem this while purchasing the OnePlus 6.
