Loveland-area weather: Chance of severe thunderstorms

Mother's Day is going to be warm with a high of 92 with the possibility of a passing shower or isolated thunderstorm. Some storms could be severe, with large hail. Cloudy, with a high near 64. East wind 3 to 7 miles per hour. Chance of rain 90 percent. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 46. Light north wind increasing to 5 to 10 miles per hour in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, high near 81. Northeast wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

'Thunderstorms are expected to develop to the north and west and spread southeastward into the area Tuesday late afternoon and night.

Tuesday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2pm.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 85.

Friday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The clouds were abundant, complete with some scattered rain showers, patchy drizzle, and unseasonably cool temperatures mired in the 50s throughout the gray and gloomy day.

Sunday will be partly cloudy, hot, and breezy.

Friday: Rain and thunderstorms likely.

Saturday: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm.
