Kensington Palace announced on Wednesday that Princess Charlotte and Prince George will be bridesmaid and page boy in Saturday's royal wedding - and they're not alone.

Four-year-old Prince George, who is third in line to the British throne after his grandfather Prince Charles and father Prince William, heads up the list of page boys.

On Monday he was reported by the Los Angeles-based celebrity website TMZ.com to be unable to attend due to a heart attack and embarrassment over whether he had staged pictures with a paparazzi photographer.

Meghan Markle is estranged from her half-sister, who has not been expected to attend the nuptials, and from her half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. "Windsor is a very special place for Prince Harry, and he and Ms. Markle have regularly spent time there during the a year ago", a spokesperson for Kensington Palace previously shared.

Kensington Palace declined to confirm whether or not Mr Markle had pulled out but appealed for understanding, saying: "This is a deeply personal moment for Ms Markle in the days before her wedding".

Markle also said that he thought the pictures were "stupid", according to TMZ, and chose to skip the wedding as he didn't want to embarrass Meghan or the royal family any further.

Earlier this month, palace officials said that Markle's father and her mother, Doria Ragland, would arrive in Britain this week and would spend time with senior royals, including Queen Elizabeth II.

Ms. Meghan has previously heaped her father with compliments for investing in her future. We can just have so much fun together, and yet, I'll still find so much solace in her support. She said the media had "raked him over the coals" and "distorted his image".

So who is Thomas Markle?

On May 19, royal wedding fans will be gathered around their televisions or amongst the crowds in Windsor to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom.

Dooley is expected to cover the royal wedding for an American broadcasting network and said she "will be in the front row cheering them on" in Windsor.
