United Airlines is increasing nonstop service between Newark Liberty International Airport and 15 destinations, including Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. That service, initially announced to run four times per week, was cut back to twice a week before it began. Flights to the new cities will begin in mid-August.

Frontier also offers nonstop flights from Omaha to Austin, Texas; Denver; Las Vegas; Orlando, Florida; and Philadelphia.

With their addition, Frontier will fly to a total of 23 destinations from San Antonio, more than any other airline.

"We are pleased to add another non-stop destination from Memphis", said Richard Oliver, spokesperson for Frontier Airlines. We're offering incredibly low fares and a reliable, friendly service that allows people to customize the travel experience to their needs and budget.

Frontier Airlines is considered an ultra-low cost carrier, which combines cheap fares with extra fees for amenities like advanced seat assignments, luggage and beverages.
