The new feature has been spotted in the latest beta update on Android.

Whatsapp also recently rolled out a new Payments feature for Android users.

First spotted by WABetaInfo, you can check if you have it (and enable it) by diving into the Notifications section of the main Settings menu.

WhatsApp's second group feature is "high priority notifications" feature.

This feature is more appropriate for people who are part of some office groups as they will be able to pin important notifications on the top. Unlike the previous updates, where the group admin of a WhatsApp group had to remove other admin from the group and later on add him again for removing as an admin.

Having said that, while this feature is available on stable version of Android, which is 2.18.116, it's missing from version 2.18.117, which is a beta version. The administrators of the particular WhatsApp group can also demote other admins without deleting them from the group. Before this feature rolled out, the only way you could revoke admin rights was by removing a group admin from the group and then adding him back.

Messages from regular chats will appear below any high priority notifications you have, even if they're newer. It is likely to be rolled out to Android devices within the next few days. Admins, on the other hand, do not get to benefit from the feature despite visibility. This feature is being made available on WhatsApp's latest version 2.18.41. And you thought there was no way your group chat could get any more annoying... In order to use the new feature, users can go to the app Setting Payments Send Payment Send to UPI ID. But, group members won't be allowed to dismiss the group creator. Previously, It has introduced similar new features such as retrieval of the old deleted or accidentally deleted messages without any time limit and allowing senders to delete their messages in group chats.
