A dual-camera setup and a traditional fingerprint reader will also be part of the package, as per the same source, which also boasts of a battery capable of lasting an entire day on a single charge. It will be powered by an octa-core 1.4GHz processor, clubbed with 3GB RAM. Now, images have emerged showing the design and specifications of the Moto G6 Play.

The leaked hands-on images show that the Moto G6 Play will feature a glass build as seen on the Moto X4.

Finally, the Moto G6 Play will be available in indigo and gold colours, although the indigo colour here looks different to the indigo of the G6 and G6 Plus, it even looks black from the front. The highlight of the G6 Play will be the fingerprint scanner placement; It's housed inside the Motorola dimple at the back, which is nothing new, but manufacturers have long forgotten this. The render of the Moto G6 Play, in particular, confirms that it will likely be the only model with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor while the other two will see the sensor placed below the display.

After a few quite extensive leaks, it really did seem like there was little more to learn about Motorola's upcoming Moto G6 family. For photography, the smartphone will carry a 13MP rear shooter along with 8MP secondary camera with a flash. The rumoured specifications of the phone hint towards a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution (2160×1080 pixels) and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Moto G6 Plus will launch with a Snapdragon 630 and it has also been confirmed by retail stores that already listed it ahead of launch. The specs are in line with past rumours about the G6 Play so it's fairly certain these are final.

In terms of imaging, the G6 Plus is expected to come with a dual rear-facing camera. A recent online listing pegs the G6 at $250 (approx Rs 16,300), while the G6 Play may be priced at $200 (approx Rs 13,000).

The devices in Moto G6 series are expected to be the Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus.

We all know that Lenovo-owned Motorola is holding an event on the 9th of April, 2018 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
