John Cena, Nikki Bella split weeks before their wedding

John Cena and Nikki Bella were together for six years which is a lot more than some couples can say especially in the entertainment business.

At the event, the two stars teamed up to defeat Maryse and The Miz, who questions Cena's commitment to Bella.

Sometimes it can be hard for a couple to stay together no matter how much people are rooting for them.

The 16-time world champion was completely unable to build any offence against The Deadman and lost in under three minutes. "We ask that you just respect our privateness throughout this time in our lives".

"Relationships are onerous. Don't ever assume that love is straightforward". "You either have two choices: you either jump ship and start a new relationship or move forward and try to work through it".

Cena added: "We work every day on us".

When Gifford asked if the wedding was still on at the time, Cena said it was. "Love is beautiful, but we've had to come to the realization after being together for five years that love is not easy". I'm so very proud of you.
