Here's the synopsis: 'Jean Thomas, aka THE NURSE (Jodie Foster) is the manager of the Hotel Artemis, an ultra-exclusive, members-only hospital hidden in a hotel redolent of faded '20s glamour. Watch the trailer above.

Either way, Hotel Artemis attempts to go through the typical diversity checklist of characters, including the heroic thieves played by Brown and Brian Tyree Henry, who rob a guy who has a pen filled with valuable goods. Foster gives an ominous one-liner explaining the hush-hush policy: "This hospital was built on two things: trust, and rules". Such is the case with Hotel Artemis.

Jodie Foster is a wisecracking nurse with gallows humor in the violence-laden first trailer for the near-future action-thriller "Hotel Artemis", released on Monday.

The film has a similar feel to John Wick's darkly illuminated aesthetics, and it is hard to tell if Pearce, who also wrote Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and Iron Man 3, is paying his respects to the Wick World or trying to tie-in. Watching all of these criminals, each with unique skill sets, defending the Artemis and each other from The Wolf King and his goons using knives and 3D-printed guns should make for the kind of creative action movie that stands out from the crowd.

Did you love John Wick, but maybe wished it focused nearly exclusively on the Continental Hotel?

The cast of Hotel Artemis is absolutely stellar.

Hotel Artemis is set to hit theaters on June 8, 2018.

Alongside Brown, Golblum, Henry, and Foster, the film also stars Sofia Boutella, Jenny Slate, Zachary Quinto, Charlie Day, and Dave Bautista.
