Fortnite Double XP Weekend: When Does it Begin & End?

Epic Games announced Fortnite [Free] version 3.5.2, and it is rolling out starting right now. The item in question here is obviously the jetpack, and the reason that Epic Games gave for its delay is the fact that there is an unforeseen design issue with the jetpack.

It's easy to see why big companies like EA and Activision are chasing the battle royale dollar; the genre soared to new heights previous year with Playerunknown's Battlegrounds and 2018 to date has been dominated by Epic's free-to-play Fortnite: Battle Royale.

This Fortnite update also introduces a Light Machine Gun to the game, apart from a few gifts as an apology for last week's extended server downtime.

What did these in-game files say about the future of the jetpack?

Many gamers were waiting for a heavily theorized update that is set to destroy (or at least alter) the game's most popular location, "Tilted Towers", yesterday, but they'll have to wait a little longer.

A blog dedicated to Fortnite news and related content pointed out Wednesday that many players have noticed large "shooting stars" falling across the sky while playing the game. The confirmation of its existence by dataminers and the addition of telescopes by Epic Games to the phenomenally popular action-shooter have only added to the buzz as of late.

So the battle royale gold rush is on, and DICE is investigating how a massive, last player-standing mode would work with its current mechanics.

Light Machine Gun (Battle Royale) Lock and load! The patch notes for Battle Royale are below. The final storm will also be visible on the mini-map from the start and players are given 10 minutes to loot the map while the storm closes in on the circle. Crossing the line will make running into enemies more likely.

Floor Loot spawns double ammo. This can be found all over the game world, as it's been added to the floor loot, treasure chest, and vending machine loot tables, and it fires medium ammo with a 100 round magazine.

Some have also interpreted it as referring to April 2018, when the season three Fortnite Battle Pass expires.
