According to Page Six, Beyonce wanted to do something special for fans to make up for cancelling last year's headlining gig at Coachella due to being pregnant with twins Rumi and Sir. While it's uncertain why Beyonce let go of the dancers, Cardi is reportedly hiring four or five for her team.

Excited fans had a new nickname for the festival: Beychella.

The singer opened her long-anticipated performance with a marching band version of her hit "Crazy in Love", and later crooned a rendition of "Lift Every Voice and Sing", also known as the black national anthem. Apparently the "added surprise" is a way for Beyonce "to make up for the fact she was unable to perform past year", when pregnant.

For those won't be able to make the trek to the desert, YouTube is streaming all of Coachella this weekend (via the channels below) - including Bey's performance. Lady Gaga stepped in as Beyoncé's replacement.

Where can I stream Coachella performances? There will be an hour intermission before my performance, so mark your spot, charge your phones, grab your drinks. We need your energy! Can't wait to see y'all at 11:05pm!', she said on social media prior to her performance.
