Opening her set in Indio, California, she shouted out: "Coachella, thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline", before launching into "Run the World Girls".

Beyoncé has further enhanced her spectacular set at Coachella bringing Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland back to the stage for a mini-set.

The group played three songs from their heyday: "Lose My Breath", "Say My Name" and "Soldier". As you can see, the reunion consisted of Destiny's Child's classic trio lineup, rather than the earlier quartet incarnation.

Bey was set to perform at the music festival previous year, but had to cancel due to her pregnancy with her twins Rumi and Sir.

"Beyoncé and Destiny's Child are reuniting", claims the source, reports Page Six.

In 2017, Beyonce had cancelled her appearance at Coachella citing pregnancy complications. Her fans have been waiting since her cancelled performance a year ago following the announcement of her pregnancy with twins!

Before adding the new set of backup dancers, Cardi had revealed she invested $300,000 into her stage set, although TMZ reports costs are now reaching $450,000.

It was reported yesterday (April 14) that Beyoncé could be joined by some "special guests" during her performance.

Destiny's Child was primarily active from 1997 to 2006, though they reunited in 2013 to perform at the Super Bowl XLVII halftime show.

Last month, Bey hyped up fans about getting her body right for her shows.

Performing for thousands of her screaming fans and millions more who watched her live through YouTube video streaming.

The number one trending topic on social media, Beyoncé slayed Coachella so much so that fans are now calling for it to be renamed "BeyChella".
