WWE wrestler Jeff Hardy has been arrested for "driving while impaired" after he allegedly crashed his auto into a guiderail. Hardy was released from custody about an hour later.

More details regarding the arrest came from CBS Sports and revealed that Hardy was driving northbound on Concord Parkway when he allegedly ran off the runway and struck a guardrail before the vehicle spun and stopped in the middle of the right northbound lane.

We have now received word that there is about $8,000 worth of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail itself.

TMZ reports that Hardy's breathalyzer test at the scene revealed his BAC was.25, or more than three times the legal limit.

Meanwhile, the weekend's arrest is another negative mark on his career outside of wrestling.

WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy fields questions from fans during the opening day of Wizard World Philadelphia 2017 in Philadelphia, PA on June 1, 2017.

Cabarrus County Court records show he will appear before a judge on April 16 and has already had his driving license revoked for at least 30 days.

WWE filmed The Ultimate Deletion with brother Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt at the Hardy Compound last week.

Hardy is now shelved with a shoulder injury, but was recently cleared to return to the ring.

"Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions". The Hardy's are no stranger to substance abuse or run-ins with the law so they may have a different incident protocol than the rest of us, but this sounds like Matt may be more excited about his sobriety than he is concerned about Jeff.
