Tim McGraw collapses on stage during Ireland performance

McGraw then sat down on the stage, before the concert was halted so he could receive medical attention backstage.

Country music star Tim McGraw on Sunday night collapsed onstage while performing his hit "Humble & Kind", in Dublin, Ireland, Rolling Stone reported.

McGraw's wife Faith Hill ended upi addressing the crowd to inform them about her husband's condition. The two have been married for over twenty years.


"I apologise, but I made the decision that he can not come back out onstage", Hill added, to cheers and applause from the understanding audience.

"We've all been a little bit dehydrated traveling so much, and he's been super dehydrated", Hill said.

The crowd started cheering "Get well, Tim!"


McGraw had only played in London on Friday night and Glasgow on Saturday evening as part of the three-city Country to Country tour. The local medical staff took good care of him and he is now feeling fine. He and Faith thank everyone for their love and support and look forward to seeing their Irish fans again soon, ' he said in a statement to fans.

After the audience chanted "we love Tim", Hill sang an a capella rendition of What a Friend We Have in Jesus, before the lights came up and the audience was ushered out. Faith Hill then encouraged everyone to drink water and stay healthy.

"And I'm deeply moved by these students who are lifting their voices - challenging us to listen, learn, and make real changes".


McGraw and Hill are scheduled to begin their 29-city Soul2Soul tour in the US on May 31 in Richmond, Va.
