The movie collects Rs 100 crore and now stands with the grand total of Rs 117.49 crore.

In a week of its release, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has entered the Rs 100 crore club, as per early estimates. The film, which also stars Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan, young actor Harshaali Malhotra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in prominent roles, released in China in over 8000 screens by the name of Little Lolita Monkey God Uncle. Well, Chinese box office anyway. On Thursday, Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected $4 million, which is the highest single day collection figure in China for the film, tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh. But it is still far behind Aamir's movies. Now Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan has joined the bandwagon. The film is now fifth highest Indian grosser in the global market after Dangal, Baahubali 2, Secret Superstar and PK. The much-loved #HindiMedium will be the third Indian film to release in China *in 2018*. China has nearly quadrupled its screen count in the last few years, from around 10,000.

However, if Bajrangi Bhaijaan achieves the 300 million yuan estimated by Maoyan, it would dethrone Secret Superstar to emerge as the all time third highest grossing Indian film, only behind Dangal and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

The second big factor contributing to the sky-high collections may be the difference in ticket rates. Interestingly, after having an average start, Bajrangi Bhaijaan showed the solid trend in the weekdays and the collections continuously showed good jump each passing day at the box office. "Recognizing the significant market opportunity there, Eros is coming together with Kabir Khan for a travel drama with the working title The Zookeeper and we are confident this would be the first of many films releasing from our catalogue", said Naidu.
