Oppo F7 With Full-Screen Display and iPhone X-Like Notch to Launch in India on March 27

The smartphone looks just like the upcoming Oppo R15 that is expected to launch in China soon. The F series phones comes with a tag line "Selfie Expert" and it seems like the Oppo F7 is also under the same tagline.

In addition to the premium selfie camera, the Oppo F7 will carry a 6.2-inch 18:9 FHD+ display. As far as the release of the Oppo F7 is concerned, the company has started to share teasers of the latest smartphone along with a unique aspect of using Indian cricket team's players to market the phone. The design somewhat resembles the upcoming OPPO R15 that is extensively leaked already.

Besides Oppo, the other smartphone manufacturers like Huawei, OnePlus, Asus and others are also planning to launch smartphones embracing iPhone X like launch.

While there is no mention as to when exactly the device would lauch, Oppo Mobile India had posted the tweet along with a launch date of March 26. Moreover, the handset will ship with the AI-enabled front camera. For those of you who don't know, Oppo had secured the main sponsorship rights of the Indian cricket team previous year and is now the main sponsor of the Indian Nationa Cricket Team.


Like majority of OPPO smartphones, last year's OPPO F5 was a selfie-centric smartphone that came with a 20 MP front camera, but, the OPPO F7 is said to come with a 25 MP selfie camera. But the company is not teasing anything about the Artifical Intelligence features though. The front camera will also likely feature real-time HDR, an enhanced beauty mode and AR stickers.

Sadly, we are not sure about the other specifications of the device as of now. However, we could expect to hear more from the company regarding this phone in the coming days.


Chinese smartphone brand Vivo is reportedly launching the Vivo V9 in India on March 27.
