Lisa Bonet Could Always Sense a 'Sinster, Shadow Energy' in Bill Cosby

Years before accusations ever started coming out against Bill Cosby, Denise Huxtable says she could just feel something was off. Bonet added that she'd "always" felt a darkness surrounding Cosby, but, she noted, she'd had no idea he'd allegedly committed any kind of sexual misconduct. The TV star and legendary comedian, has been in the news after several women came forward accusing Cosby of sexual assault. "And that type of sinister, shadow energy can not be concealed". She confirmed the energy was indeed dark.

Cosby, 80, and Bonet, 50, were rumored to have a bad professional relationship, and a 1986 interview Bonet did with David Letterman didn't alleviate suspicions.

She then said that "if I had anything more to reveal then it would have happened a long time ago". "The truth will set you free", she says.

Bonet's words echo those of her daughter, Zoe Kravitz, who spoke to The Guardian in 2015 about why her mother hadn't said anything about the scandal when it first erupted. She was previously Wednesday to musician Lenny Kravitz.

Cosby continues to find himself in both criminal civil legal trouble, so perhaps karma and justice aren't quite done with him yet.

"I can't say it was full-on from the moment we saw each other, but we have been together from the day that we met", Bonet said. She's just as disgusted and concerned as everyone else is, but I don't think she has any insight.
