Over the past few years Cameron Diaz has kept an uncharacteristically low profile, and now she it turns out she may have retired from acting completely.

Well, we've been without it since 2014 when she last starred in a film, but are just now being made aware of it. Her major make under for the film also proved there was more to Diaz's screen presence than just her beauty.

But Cameron Diaz has reportedly retired from acting to focus on family life with her musician husband Benji Madden, 39.

Though Cameron has not officially announced her retirement, she did hint about stepping away from the movie industry to work on herself at the Goop Wellness Summit a year ago. The accompanying website has Goop-esque self care vibes-meets 2006 AIM profile "live-laugh-love" positivity.

Cameron has shied away from the spotlight after marrying rocker Benji back in 2015 with reports a year ago even suggesting they were planning to adopt a baby. She received Golden Globe nominations for her performance in There's Something About Mary and received Supporting Actress nominations for her dramatic turns in Vanilla Sky and Gangs of NY, and in the comically weird Being John Malkovich.

Maybe another chance to play Princess Fiona in Shrek would bring her back. She recalled how the constant travel and life on film sets affected her.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper, "Cameron is constantly inundated with film scripts trying to tempt her out of retirement but she's just not interested". News. "I felt the need to make myself whole".

Cameron Diaz hasn't appeared in a feature films since 2014's "Sex Tape" and "Annie", which did not do too well in the box-office. Referencing Diaz's marriage to Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden, the insider added, "She's happy, in love and wants to make the most of her freedom and free time". A source told the magazine, "She would love more than anything to be a mom".
