Using the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, add specific software titles to your whitelist to exclude them from the console's Parental Controls Restricted Software setting.

Finally, Nintendo has made some changes to the parental control system.

Early January Nintendo Switch fans were super excited about the firmware 5.0.0 for the Nintendo Switch. While nothing is now known about the next firmware update, it seems likely that it'll be coming sooner rather than later. The default system will have users enter their PIN using the controller instead of the touchscreen in order to prevent others from figuring out the PIN. Gamers should find that games they purchase on a computer or mobile device through the eShop begin downloading more quickly on their Switch than before.

Another improvement that Nintendo included in version 5.0.0 has to do with downloaded games.

Nintendo Switch has continue d to evolve with the system software updates it gets occasionally.

Unlike past versions, it has introduced some pretty MASSIVE updates to the console and is the latest update to the console since May.

Once the download is complete, you'll be asked if you'd like to install the update. Before installing, they are advised to save any game progress.

You can now choose to lock this app.

YoYo Games have signed a deal with Nintendo to add Nintendo Switch support to their 2D game development engine, GameMaker Studio 2.
