Another Wii U classic that a lot of people missed out on is getting a second chance at life - and it's Toad's opportunity to be the hero once more!

It was exciting enough to see Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker get announced for the Switch, releasing on July 13, 2018. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is now available on Wii U, and will release for 3DS and Nintendo Switch on July 13. Both versions of the game are due to arrive on July 13. This version will also feature a light multiplayer mode that will allow one player to navigate and another to throw items at enemies. We already have versions of Mario Kart 8 and Bayonetta 2, with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze coming out soon as well.

It's no secret that Nintendo has been porting several Wii U games to its other systems. Treasure Tracker began its life as a level concept for Super Mario 3D World that would have required players to twist and turn levels in order to solve puzzles.
