Variety reports that Apple has ordered two seasons of a new animated comedy-musical series called Central Park from Loren Bouchard, the creator of the Emmy-winning Bob's Burgers. The series will be helmed in the same studio that works on The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad! and Bob's Burgers, and formerly produced Futurama and King of the Hill.

Central Park is the 14 show to be commissioned by Apple in the space of a year, as it picks up the projects in its bid to build a successful TV business.

Bell and Gad will voice characters along with Leslie Odom Jr., Titus Burgess, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs and Kathryn Hahn. The order is 26 episodes, split into two 13-episode seasons. Gad and Bouchard will write the script, as well as serving as executive producers.

The show was originally developed for Fox, where Bouchard has an overall deal. Reese Witherspoon is also producing a comedy series for Apple with SNL alum and Wonder Woman 2 villain Kristen Wiig attached to star.
