While Half-Life fans wait (perhaps futilely) for Valve to announce Half-Life 3, Square Enix is providing fans with the next best thing: a Gordon Freeman costume for Noctis in Final Fantasy 15 Windows Edition. These bonuses are generally of the standard "extra costumes and power-up" - but for Steam users, one of those extra costumes happens to be based on Half-Life star Gordon Freeman.

Square Enix also announced pre-order details for the Final Fantasy Windows Edition, organized by which digital store you purchase from.

The Windows Edition will launch alongside Final Fantasy 15: Royal Edition for PS4 and Xbox One on March 6, 2018. As an added bonus, these bonuses also carry over to the multiplayer expansion Comrades. The game is also available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The last Half-Life game released in 2007. These shirts actually have in-game benefits, from increasing strength to improving health recovery.

As for members of Electronic Arts' Origin service, they'll be treated to a set of vehicle decals if they pre-order in advance of March 6. Luckily, Square Enix released a benchmarking tool, so you can check out for yourself how badly the Final Fantasy XV PC version will hurt your PC.

If you purchase the game from the Microsoft Store, your selection of bonus items is decidedly less exciting, with Phoenix Downs and Elixirs up for grabs as well as a sword for your trouble.

Then in the middle, rather inexplicably, there's the Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, a chibi version of the main story, available for mobile devices.

This release comes with all existing Final Fantasy XV content, as well as 4K support and a first-person camera mode. It's rated T for Teen.
