Or was if Glenn's Season 6 death by way of Lucille?

With The Walking Dead's season eight midseason premiere about to drop, fans of the long-running tale of survival horror are wondering where they go from here.

Now sadly we know that Carl is going to die but he will still appear in the mid-season debut, which will definitely be a heartbreaking goodbye for the character who has been around since the very beginning of the show.

Well actually, what we ended up doing, after I got my eye shot out, we ended up switching that holster to my left pant leg.

Chandler explained he had to retrain how to shoot and aim using his left hand, but that he got "lazy with it".

"It was super weird, so I was like, you know what, forget continuity". He was clearly amused as he told the story behind using Carl's missing eye to shoot an assault rifle, and he's nearly certainly not the only one.

The Walking Dead returns on February 25 in the USA, and airs on Fox February 26 in the United Kingdom at 9pm. Why should Chandler Riggs have to learn to shoot with his left arm and left eye when he has a perfectly good right eye in real life?

Given Carl's prominence in The Walking Dead, as well as his importance to the story, many fans would have already presumed that his demise would have a seismic impact.

First things first, let's go back to the last episode of "The Walking Dead" when it was revealed that Carl Grimes had been bitten when he went back to save Siddiq and brought him to Alexandria.

Set to the tune of Camila Caboello's "Havana", Lincoln ooh-la-las his way through a silly (yet strangely poignant) walkthrough of what he loves and hates about the time he and Riggs have shared on the show.

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on Sunday, February 25.
