Samsung (accidentally) publishes full Galaxy S9 promo video early

Rumors related to the S9 lineup's price are not new, with several sources claiming that Samsung will increase prices this year Now, we've got more details. The phone is likely to use Samsung's own Exynos 9810 processor, or Qualcomm's similarly powerful Snapdragon 845 - also built by Samsung.

Samsung's "UNPACKED 2018" event is only days away and another major news about Samsung flagship has arrived. Simon explains LG is expected to update its phone, the V30S, while Sony is rumored to be revealing a new, curved phone. We still can't be sure what the final Galaxy S9 price would be in the USA market, but we can expect it to compete with the iPhone X in terms of pricing.

Mobile World Congress, the wireless industry's biggest conference, begins next week in Barcelona, where more than 100,000 people are set to see the latest smartphones, artificial intelligence devices and autonomous drones exhibited by roughly 2,300 companies.


The Galaxy S9 is expected to feature a 12-megapixel sensor while the S9+ might have a dual-camera setup at the rear with a combination of two 12-megapixel sensors with one of them featuring variable aperture as mentioned above along with a secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. However, chances are that Samsung might improve its face unlocking tool, along with new colours of the devices, including one in lilac.

Now the bigger question is whether these discounts on Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge 32GB and 128GB variants make the device worthwhile?

It's hard to blame Samsung for the way in which the phones have been designed; they've clearly arrived at a formula that works for them - releasing high-end flagships with premium performance that draw in crowds year after year. 3D faces will map your expressions to lil' emoji - and we may have already glimpsed the animation through Samsung's latest S9 preview video.

A 93 percent screen-to-body ratio is expected from the upcoming Galaxy S9, an improvement from the 83 percent ratio featured by its predecessor, the Galaxy S8. Samsung, AT&T, Huawei, and others have been making regular announcements on their development progress for 5G networks and the modems that will handle them.

One potential surprise we might get from Samsung is regarding battery life. Afterall, phones on the Galaxy S series always have the best camera. Synaptics and Vivo banded together to unveil the first phone to include in-display fingerprint sensing at CES 2018.
