The LG V30S ThinQ is nothing but a general LG V30 with better storage and thinking capabilities like Artificial Intelligence. Building on the foundation of the LG V30 platform, the LG V30S ThinQ integrates new AI technologies into the most commonly used features that are closely aligned to the needs and usage behavior of consumers today.

The V30S ThinQ uses AI in many ways not yet seen including the camera with software they are calling Vision AI.

The Bright mode, as the name suggests, improves the low light shooting ability by measuring the ambient light and brightening images by a factor of two. AI CAM is said to analyze subjects in the frame and recommends the best possible shooting mode across eight categories - portrait, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise, and sunset.

The QLens gives users the ability to scan an item or QR code in fine out where to buy the product at the lowest price and recommendations for similar items with the BrightMode improving the camera performance in low light.

LG V30S ThinQ smartphone was launched in February 2018.

With a particular focus on the camera and voice recognition, the resulting Vision AI delivers a smarter camera that is even easier to use, while Voice AI enhances the breadth of spoken commands in the latest smartphone. Working alongside Google Assistant the commands allow the user to use the voice commands to navigate anywhere throughout the settings and menus of the phone as well as direct selection of some functions. (It also comes in Moroccan Blue.) It rocks the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor as its predecessor and has the same 6-inch display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and has 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage for the V30S ThinQ variant and 256GB for V30S+ ThinQ variant.

Voice AI is another AI-based capability that the LG V30S ThinQ has got in its refreshed variant. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 2GB via a microSD card.

- Camera: Dual cameras on the rear. At the back you get a 16MP standard angle camera with f/1.6 aperture along with a 13MP wide angle (120-degree) camera with f/1.9 aperture. The front-facing camera will be, what is now in the selfie world a disappointing 5MP f/2.2 90 degree FOV camera. All powered by a 3300mAh battery, and Android 8.0 Oreo. There will be a headphone jack included with a 32-bit Quad DAC. The smartphone is a Water and Dust resistant with IP68 rating. But here's the issue: the AI Cam and every other software improvement in the V30S are promised to be delivered as an update to V30 phones. After that, it will be made more widely available later in March, with pricing to be determined locally. We told you it was very slight.
