The news of this S8 price drop comes as a recent leak suggests Samsung will offer a trade-in deal for anyone wanting to upgrade to its new Galaxy S9.

The video also says that the Galaxy S9 is water resistant and comes with a new translation feature. The Galaxy S9 is rumored to come packing 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, while the S9+ model will be configured with 6GB of memory and 128GB of local storage. The two phones will run Android 8.0 Oreo with the Samsung Experience UI 9.0. According to the image leaked by Evan Blass, Nokia 7 Plus will be an Android One smartphone.

The video include features such as multitasking, support for Samsung DeX, support for Samsung KNOX, advanced biometric authentication, as well as a focus on an enterprise edition of the software for richer business-focused support. Unfortunately, despite the fact that many are looking forward to upgrading to Samsung's latest phone, the Galaxy S9 event will reveal a phone that is largely iterative rather than a handset that brings something new to the table. Yup, if you head over to Samsung Mobile's YouTube channel here you can likely enjoy a live stream video that will appear just as the event is about to kick-off. These are the same battery capacities, which we present in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ as well. Onboard will be a Snapdragon 660 chipset with Adreno 512 GPU of this smartphone which is said to be the first full-screen device from the company.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus have been leaking for quite some time now.

So how about the best of both worlds? A repositioned fingerprint sensor is one of the flagship features of the devices. Removing the need for a bottom bezel allows them to increase screen real estate and eliminating the home button leaves fewer opportunities for the phone to wear down over time.

To break this major news for you, Samsung had been doing something bigger than ever!

Samsung has even created a special Samsung Unpacked 2018 app just for this occasion.
