The annual three-day event will include more hands-on experiences at the Palladium for players attending the event, while some of the biggest global community creators in the world will be sharing early game footage and live streams directly from the show floor for players viewing from home.

However it turns out, the next Battlefield game will be coming to EA Play in June, so be on the lookout for more information.

Tickets to EA PLAY 2018, which are free, will be available in the spring, alongside a "new ticketing system to give players better hands-on access to games".

As always, EA will livestream this event, meaning that those that can not attend it will be able to at least watch it online.

At EA Play 2018, players looking for intense action will have a chance to play the next Battlefieldexperience, all the upcoming EA Sports games, and get an inside look at the stunning new action game, Anthem.

There have been some rumors that talk about the next game being set in World War 2, a time period that DICE hasn't used since one of its first Battlefield games.

Last year, the open Battlefield 1 beta started on August 31st, a few weeks before its public release. At the core of EA PLAY are incredible games, fun experiences and thousands of players that bring these gaming communities to life.

EA announced the event's return on its official site - but it's the mention of the "next Battlefield experience" that has really caught the eye.

EA Play will take place in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Paladium, a fairly short drive from E3 2018 at the LA Convention Center in Downtown Los Angeles.

Battlefield 2018 will be playable from June 9th to June 11th giving attendees a few days to test out the game ahead of its highly anticipated launch.
