Cloudy this afternoon and turning windy this evening

Today's forecast calls for 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after noon. Low around 18. Northwest wind 9 to 17 miles per hour. Winds may gust as high as 21 miles per hour. Some snow showers will begin for the Cascades by the afternoon and will be fairly consistent all weekend. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 28. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Rain showers are going to develop with the heaviest activity likely occurring north of USA 278. Cloudy, with a high near 66. Friday, strong winds will be possible in the Cody Foothills, along with the east slopes of the Wind Rivers, and across the southern wind corridor. That is roughly 2 ¾ inches below normal amounts for the period, data on the weather service's website showed. Showers are a good possibility tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow night and Saturday, with the highest coverage over the Tennessee Valley region of far north Alabama.

Southwest winds will be 20 km/h, becoming west early in the afternoon.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 75. North wind around 5 miles per hour becoming southeast in the afternoon. This low then looks to track northeastward to a position somewhere off the Mid-Atlantic or Northeast coast by Sunday morning.
