PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is still going strong into 2018 as the PUBG Corp has moved into 1.0 territory, adding multiple patches to the game.

PUBG is also always in perpetual beta, and it was released in unfinished form, first on the PC and then on Xbox One via the Xbox Game Preview program.

The latest PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds patch, which only just released on test servers two days ago, has now made it out for all on live servers.

Players of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds who did not properly receive in-game currency after the full release in December past year will be compensated, but the community wants the multiplayer shooter's developers to focus on an entirely different issue.

Player Unknown's Battlegrounds aka PUBG is one of the most famous games of 2017.

The game's Xbox One launch, however, didn't go without its hiccups. Microsoft also worked on the Xbox One conversion itself, keen to strike while the iron was hot.

Despite reports of poor performance on the Xbox One, PlayerUnknown's Battleground has surpassed three million players on Xbox.

"We see Xbox Game Preview very much like Early Access on Steam, so we are trying to evolve the game more with the feedback of the users", explains Kim in an interview with OXM in December. "It's been awesome to see the excitement and passion on display from the Xbox community". "We want to push out as many updates as we can, but it's very hard to do frequent updates when it comes to the console platform, so on this we're now consulting with the Xbox team on how to make this happen more quickly".

Earlier this month PUBG Corp disclosed the drop rates for its cosmetic loot boxes, with some of the rarest items having a one in 10,000 chance of dropping.

According to Greenberg, PUBG developer Bluehole continues to work on new updates for Xbox One. Be sure to check out the game if you like competitive multiplayer experiences. One player wrote, "My first game playing after the full release update the person that killed me did a complete 180 and got a headshot with the Kar".
