The earliest we should expect the Game of Thrones spinoffs

Seven acclaimed, high-profile TV shows are making fans wait a rather long time for new episodes - with 2018 shaping up to be a year that's getting skipped by a bunch of top series altogether.

If we do a pilot and series, nothing is going to air on HBO until at least a year after the final season. This Emmy Award-winning show is expected to reveal which of the warring families of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros will win the control of the Iron Throne. The final season of the hit medieval series starring Kit Harington and Emilia Clarke indeed is expected to feature a lot of battle scenes, including a dragon-on-dragon battle between Drogon and his undead brother Viserion in the Great War to Come. "We'll take as much or as little time as the writers need and, as with all our development, we will evaluate what we have when the scripts are in".

And, much like the next season of the show, there will be a long wait for them as well.

"I suppose we could've said to them, 'You must deliver by this date,"' he continued.

"It wasn't necessarily a delay", Bloys told TVLine.

Benioff and Weiss will not be involved in any of the Game of Thrones prequels, so their plates should be clear enough for Confederate, assuming it isn't so radioactive HBO chooses not to air it. After all, Game of Thrones has been a massive success for HBO. The episodes will be "o$3 n the air, for subscribers".

"They're moving along", he told Entertainment Weekly of the five potential successor shows. That would make sense as HBO could position it to be the next big thing for genre fans after Game of Thrones ends its run with season 8. "We ave some really talented writers working on them".

Luckily, everything we've heard about the final season, sounds absolutely incredible and Bloys only added to the anticipation in talking about the forthcoming six-episode finale.
