Stars go wild at the Critics' Choice Awards

Viacom offers RuPaul honest con-drag-ulations for his latest win, and we look forward to watching the Queen reign supreme in 2018-starting with the return of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 3 on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m.

From Kate Bosworth's dramatic lace detailing to Angelina Jolie's incredibly chic feathers, here are our best-dressed from the red carpet. She sported similar accents, this time on the ends of her sleeves, at Sunday night's Golden Globes. After pausing during her Globes acceptance speech to nervously say "Hi, Oprah" to Oprah Winfrey in the front row, Brosnahan told USA TODAY she was more "relaxed" than during "my now-infamous "Hi, Oprah" " moment and gave a soaring oratory. Watching powerful women hanging out and working together to make life a little bit easier for the rest of us is a glorious sight to behold.

Meanwhile, actor James Franco won the Best Actor in a Comedy for his role in "The Disaster Artist", but skipped the Critics' Choice Awards ceremony because of the sexual misconduct allegations on the actor.

Heidi Klum epitomised glamour in a beaded cold-shoulder gown with flower appliques from Georges Hobeika's Fall 2017 collection. "I don't remember any of it", laughed the starlet, clad in pale pink Zuhair Murad.

Held in Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hangar, the second major award show of Hollywood's self-celebratory season struggled to find a tone in the wake of the blatantly political Golden Globes last week.
