American actress Bella Thorne has been on the receiving end of backlash after tweeting a message many have deemed insensitive.

The actress later deleted the tweet, but not before Lowe - a resident of Santa Barbara County who helped firefighters battle unsafe blazes near his house last month - had for it.

She returned to Instagram on Monday and wrote, "I'm on Twitter reading about all the people sharing sexual abuse stories with me from mine and I just want to say I'm really proud of all you guys".

As a result of the wildfires, the county of Santa Barabara experienced mudslides and authorities have confirmed 17 people are dead, 17 are missing due to the natural disaster.

In the post which we have for you above, Rob said Bella's "attitude" is why people hate celebrities and Hollywood so much.

Thorne began acting when she was 6-years-old and is most famously known for her roles on Disney Channel's Shake It Up and the Freeform show Famous in Love.

After numerous notifications of people saying harsh comments to Bella, she deleted the original tweet and apologized.

Bella Thorne tweeted a complaint about traffic in Los Angeles preventing her from getting to her boyfriend rapper Mod Sun's concert. "F-k just caught up on some news had no idea why the 101 was shut down...get home to your family safe", Thorne tweeted.

Writer and social media addict.

Lowe, who lives in the area affected, shared footage of the devastation online on Wednesday, writing: "More bad stories of loss today".

On his Instagram account, Lowe expressed his devastation over the recent mudslides and said that some of his friends in the Montecito area have gone missing. Pray for Montecito and know: EVERY day could be your last.

Lowe took issue with the tweet, taking to Instagram to post a scathing response to the sentiment offered.
